 It is time for the 4^th annual Lance Williams Classic.  I cannot think of a better way to honor Lance’s memory than on the basketball court.  This year there will be 6 teams competing in the pre-season tournament.  You can show your support by purchasing an event tee-shirt, making a donation in memory or honor of a loved one, or simply attending the event and showing your school SPIRIT!  All proceeds from the tournament will go toward the athletic program.  Past tournament successes have raised money to buy stadium seats, weight equipment and a sound system. 

 This year’s tee-shirt will be awesome!  It is a charcoal grey tee with the tourney team mascots listed on the back.  The cost will be $12.00 for children’s sizes xs-l and adult sizes s-xl.  Adult sizes 2-3xl will be $15.00 (we tried to keep the price sharp so everyone could get a tee!)  All senior high tourney players will be able to purchase the tee for $6.00!   Please fill out and return the tee-shirt order form below by 11/5/09.  Money is due at time of order.  Any other donations can be sent at the same time.                                                   

In conjunction with the Saturday games, WMCS will also be hosting “Camelot’s Circle of Shops”.  This expo will feature the products of many home based businesses.  You will find jewelry, home goods, tasty treats and more. This is an excellent opportunity to do some early holiday shopping and support your neighbors as they support our school!   

It is a pleasure to be involved with a program for my Alma Mater that celebrates my nephew’s love of WMCS and its athletic program; an event that supports current students and generations to come.   Although fund raising is crucial for any private school, it is my wish that his love for life and passion for sports be the true theme for this tournament.  Life is a precious gift…enjoy it!

Businesses and individuals like you help make private schools and their programs possible.  Your contributions, along with tee-shirt and concession sells, will allow the WMCS athletic program to grow.  We are asking for $25.00 donations from those in our community (of course a larger amount would be greatly appreciated!).  All donations will be recognized during the games and in the tournament program.  It is an awesome and rewarding responsibility to be involved in youth activities, so your support is essential.
